Carolina - I am very excited for you!! I've followed you for a few years (did TAM for a LONG time) and can't wait to see what you have for us!
I'm curious if you all have any suggestions regarding a schedule to follow for specific goals? I workout 6 days per week (typically one hour in the morning before work/chaos of the day + walking with my family in the evening) and my eating is very clean and balanced. I am 46, a super happy mom of 2, and work full time. I come from a background of playing sports as a kid, then about 26 years of super high intensity workouts which led to serious fatigue, injuries, and hormonal imbalance. A few years ago I had to completely change my routine to heal. My stress level was so high that my workouts were making my health worse, not better. So, I had to stop running, HIIT, and high impact cardio/strength training. I still exercised 6 days per week, but had to decrease the impact/intensity. I also started to incorporate meditation and yoga for stress relief. It all worked - my health, energy, and hormonal balance has significantly improved. However, I gained ~15 pounds during that time and am very uncomfortable. I am beyond grateful to be healthy and strong! I'd love to feel more like myself though. It's not so much about the number on the scale, but how my body feels and the way my clothes fit. I'd love to get my lean muscle tone back, for my clothes to fit loosely again, and to decrease body fat/inflammation (to de-puff). Do you have any suggestions regarding a routine of Go Gloow and cardio (fast walking is now better for me than running) to help me reach my goals? I truly appreciate any suggestions you may have.
